Radicality Ministries & Radicality | God Time App Privacy Policy

Your privacy is important to us. Please read this Policy carefully. It explains how Radicality Ministries handles personal information across its website, ministry activities, communications, and the Radicality | God Time App.

Introduction

Radicality Ministries ("Radicality," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our Services.

For this Policy, the "Services" include the Radicality Ministries website and website-connected features; purchases, digital downloads, donations, classes, events, newsletters, speaking inquiries, support, and communications; and the Radicality | God Time web application, mobile experience, emails, notifications, and related features. "App" refers specifically to Radicality | God Time.

By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Services or provide personal information to us.

1. Scope of this combined Policy

This is one combined Privacy Policy for Radicality Ministries and the God Time App. To make the differences clear:

  • Website and ministry services include the Radicality Ministries website, contact and speaking-request forms, purchases, digital downloads, donations, registrations for classes or events, newsletter subscriptions, and ministry communications, including communications through social media.

  • God Time App services include account creation, onboarding, daily content, challenge paths, reminders, progress and streaks, journals, Ask God responses, God Moments, feedback, and related web or mobile features.

Unless a section says otherwise, the provisions of this Policy apply to both categories of Services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide through the website and ministry services

  • Contact information, such as your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number.

  • Purchase, donation, registration, and delivery information, such as products or digital materials ordered, class or event selections, donation amounts, transaction dates, billing or shipping information, and related records. Full payment-card information is generally processed by third-party payment providers rather than stored directly by Radicality Ministries.

  • Newsletter and content preferences, including information you provide when subscribing to email communications or requesting resources.

  • Communications, such as questions, speaking inquiries, prayer or ministry-related messages, support requests, survey responses, and other correspondence. If you contact us through social media, we may receive the information you send and profile information made available by that platform.

Information you provide through the God Time App

  • Account information, such as your name, preferred first name, email address, password credentials, challenge path, time zone, and profile preferences.

  • Onboarding information, such as your preferred daily rhythm, reminder time, relationship-with-God self-assessment, hearing-God responses, and challenges you select.

  • Journal and reflection content, including notes, prayers, Ask God responses, God Moments, answers to prompts, personal reflections, declarations, and other content you choose to enter.

  • Progress information, such as completed days, streaks, challenge status, survey responses, and engagement with App steps.

  • Communications and support information, including messages sent through Contact Us or Send Feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions, survey comments, and correspondence with us.

  • Notification choices, including whether you want email reminders and, when available, text-message or mobile notifications.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical information, such as browser type, device type, operating system, IP address, language, time zone, general location inferred from an IP address, and diagnostic information. We do not collect precise device location unless a feature clearly requests it and you choose to allow it.

  • Usage information, such as pages or screens viewed, buttons selected, feature interactions, session timing, errors, performance information, and broad usage trends.

  • Authentication and security information, such as sign-in timestamps, password-reset activity, confirmation status, and security logs.

  • Cookie and browser-storage information used to maintain sessions, remember preferences, support security, and understand use of the Services.

Information from service providers

We may receive information from vendors that help us operate the Services, including website, cloud hosting, database, authentication, payment, donation, email delivery, messaging, customer support, analytics, and security providers. The information we receive depends on the service and may include transaction confirmations, subscription status, delivery status, technical data, or support information.

Sensitive and faith-related information

Your journal entries, prayer reflections, spiritual questions, communications, and onboarding responses may reveal religious beliefs, emotional concerns, or other sensitive personal information. You decide what to enter or send. Please avoid including highly sensitive information that is not needed for the Service, and do not include information about another person unless you have permission to do so.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and improve the Services.

  • Process and confirm purchases, digital downloads, donations, registrations, subscriptions, and requested ministry services.

  • Create and secure App accounts, authenticate access, and help users reset passwords.

  • Remember App progress, challenge path, preferences, reminder time, and where a user stopped.

  • Display personalized greetings, daily content, streaks, completion status, and relevant challenge screens.

  • Deliver newsletters, requested resources, event or class information, account notices, security messages, service communications, and reminders.

  • Respond to questions, speaking inquiries, support requests, feedback, and ministry communications.

  • Troubleshoot problems, investigate bugs, understand performance, and develop or improve features.

  • Analyze performance and usage, including in aggregated or de-identified form, to understand broad trends and improve the Services.

  • Protect users, Radicality Ministries, and the Services from fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, or security threats.

  • Comply with law, enforce applicable terms, maintain appropriate records, and establish or defend legal claims.

4. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and the Services do not contain third-party advertising. We may disclose information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Vendors may process information to provide website hosting, App hosting, databases, authentication, payments, donation processing, email or messaging delivery, analytics, support, security, or other operational services. We require service providers to handle information only as permitted for the services they perform for us and subject to applicable contractual and privacy obligations.

  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or government requests; protect a person, property, rights, or safety; investigate fraud or security issues; or enforce agreements.

  • Organizational transactions. If Radicality Ministries is involved in a reorganization, transfer of ministry operations, financing, merger, or transfer of assets, information may be transferred subject to appropriate protections.

  • With your direction or consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to do so or clearly consent.

Only authorized Radicality Ministries personnel, contractors, consultants, and service providers with a legitimate need may access personal information. They are expected to follow applicable confidentiality, privacy, and security requirements. We may also use or disclose aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you.

5. God Time journals and user content

Journal content, Ask God responses, God Moments, and other private reflections are associated with your App account so you can save, edit, search, and revisit them. We do not use private journal or reflection content for advertising. Authorized personnel and service providers may access content only when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, or troubleshoot the App; respond to your request; prevent misuse; or comply with law.

The App is not an emergency, crisis, medical, mental-health, pastoral-counseling, or professional counseling service. Do not use journal, feedback, or support features to request emergency help. If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

6. Purchases, donations, and payment processing

Website purchases and donation transactions may be processed by third-party providers, including Squarespace and Givebutter, over encrypted connections. These providers collect and process payment information under their own privacy policies and terms. Radicality Ministries may receive transaction details such as your name, contact information, amount, date, item, donation designation, payment status, and a limited transaction identifier.

If App subscriptions or purchases are offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store will process the payment and may provide us with limited purchase, receipt, and subscription-status information. We do not control the store provider's handling of your payment credentials.

7. Email, newsletter, and text or mobile notifications

We may send transactional or service emails related to purchases, donations, registrations, requested resources, account confirmation, password resets, security, policy updates, support, and operation of the Services. We may also send newsletters, ministry updates, reminders, or encouragement emails when you request or consent to them. You may use the unsubscribe option in a marketing email or contact us to opt out, but you may still receive essential account, transaction, or security messages.

Text reminders may be planned or offered in the future. Before sending nonessential text messages, we will provide any legally required disclosures and obtain any required consent. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to text messages will not be a condition of using the core App unless clearly stated. Mobile push notifications, when available, may be controlled through App or device settings.

8. Cookies, local storage, and analytics

The website and App may use cookies, browser storage, session technologies, and similar tools to keep users signed in, remember settings, maintain security, support site or App functions, identify repeat visits, and understand performance and broad usage trends. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the Services are used. We do not use journal entries, Ask God responses, God Moments, prayers, or other free-text reflection content for usage analytics or advertising.

Where required, we will provide choices regarding nonessential cookies or analytics. Browser or device controls may allow you to block or delete these technologies, but some features may not function correctly.

9. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain App accounts and progress, complete transactions, maintain legally required financial or ministry records, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the Services. Retention periods vary by data type and operational need.

When you request App-account deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, backup, transaction-record, and recordkeeping exceptions. Residual copies may remain temporarily in secure backups until overwritten through normal processes. Information connected to a purchase, donation, registration, or legal obligation may be retained when required or reasonably necessary even after an App account is deleted.

10. Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. These may include encrypted HTTPS connections, access controls, authentication, security monitoring, protected databases, and restricted access by personnel and service providers.

No internet transmission, wireless network, website, application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security. App users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their passwords and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your choices and privacy rights

  • Access and update. App users may review or update certain profile and preference information in their accounts. You may contact us to request correction of other information.

  • Journal control. App users may create, edit, or delete journal entries and other saved reflections using available App tools.

  • Communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing or newsletter emails and change App reminder or notification settings.

  • Cookies and similar technologies. You may use available cookie choices and browser or device controls, recognizing that some features may be affected.

  • Account deletion. You may use the in-App account-deletion process or contact us to request deletion of your App account and associated data, subject to the exceptions described in this Policy.

  • Privacy requests. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or information about our processing.

To submit a privacy request, email info@radicalityministries.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

California residents

California law may provide qualifying residents rights to know, access, correct, delete, and obtain information about certain disclosures, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Radicality Ministries does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If California law applies to us, we will honor applicable verified requests and legally recognized opt-out preference signals as required.

12. Children and teens

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A person under 13 may not create an App account or independently submit personal information through the Services. If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Users who are 13 through 17 may use the God Time App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian. A minor's purchase, donation, or paid registration should be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian as required by law. Parents or guardians who believe a minor has provided information without appropriate permission may contact us.

13. Third-party sites and services

The Services may link to or interact with third-party sites and services, including payment and donation providers, social-media platforms, video platforms, Scripture resources, and app stores. Information collected directly by a third party is governed by that third party's privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review those practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, security, or privacy practices.

14. International users

The Services are operated from the United States. If you use them from another country, information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other places where our service providers operate. Those locations may have different data-protection laws than your country. Where required, we will use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Policy as the Services, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective or last-updated date and provide additional notice when required. For material changes affecting previously collected information, we will seek consent when legally required. This combined Policy supersedes prior versions once it is adopted and posted by Radicality Ministries.
